meron akong SCSI na hard disk 5 1/2 inch 300mb. Reliable kasi until now running pa sya. good working condition. affordable din kasi pwede ko na ibigay sayo for free.

as suggested above, Samsung or WD. 'di naman siguro dahil sa brand, pero 4 na sirang Hard Disk dito sa bahay ('yung iba 'di sa akin) is Seagate. mas marami sigurong sira dahil mas maraming Seagate dati.

WD or barracuda dati na tatak medyo ok with 1 year warranty. Seagate noon may dasal pang kasama.  :D

ilang taon na nga ba ulit ang RMA ng mga Hard Disk?

bukod nga pala sa Seagate, meron din akong 2 Maxtor na either sira, maraming Bad Sector (more than 10%).

1 year store warranty 3 years yung iba sa manufacturer. IIRC WD ganun. Maxtor na mga luma matibay rin.

ang mga hard disks na natapat sakin ay maxtor at seagate baraccuda, hindi naman nasira. :P

Matibay siguro yung barracuda series pero kapag seagate lang talaga siguro for masses or generic type nila . Noon seagate gamit namin 1 year lang talaga nung ipinalit seagate rin 6 months lang.

Yung mga lumang maxtor aba naililipat na sa ibang unit gumagana pa rin.

Samsung naman 1 year lang after that minsan gagana minsan hindi.

Ewan ko lang ngayon kung ano na.
