even without the LNA? is it still possible? using 2 antennas and a power amp circuit is enough?

hmmm. most probably, malaki ang signal deterioration niya. typically ang mga Power Amp ay mataas ang Noise Figure kaya kailangan parating may LNA.

baka pwede na dalawang attenna na lang without the power amp since mataas ang noise figure nya.
parang parabolic mirror na lang. at lease lahat passive.

@insomartin, yan nga po iniisip ko e.pero dapat kahit papano may cicruit..gusto namin subukan na walang ung LNA since 8 days pa ung ic nya..though gawa na ung power amp..antenna nalang ung kulang para maitesting.medyo sigurista lang po kasi kami e.haha..ang amin po kasi e basta maiboost namin ung signal ok na.

BTW, kabilaan merong Power Amp? tapos wala kayong Diplexer or Filter? kung ganyan, malamang magkaroon kayo ng oscillation, effectively jamming the link.

ang balak po namin subukan is antenna->p.amp->antenna ganyan lang po..kung hindi po ako nag kakamali may bandpass filter na po ung p.amp since ung p.amp e may ic siya na may bandpass filter na po sa specs..kung wala po ung LNA magkakaproblema po pag tuamwag since baka puro noise nalang marinig.pero kung sa text po ba di naman ito affected?

GSM is digital, clear pa rin ang boses mo kung tatagos, though, choppy kung may problem sa signal. 'yung text, mas madaling nakakatagos sa problem areas.

post the datasheet nung power amp para makita natin.

sige po.haha..asa kagroup ko po e.so baka bukas po ipost ko.

naitry na po namin ung project sa school kung saan e 1 bar lang ung signal..pinwesto na din namin dun ung antenna sa may 1 bar signal na area..di kasi pala abot ung 4m na cable sa may malakas na signal para maipwesto pa ng maayos yung antenna..so ung sinubukan namin e yagi->p.amp->dipole antenna lang..then ung 1 bar e naging 3 bars after ng ilang segundo..may nag kataon pa na nagfull bar siya ngunit saglit lang.susubukan ko sana mag text pero nasira ung ic.nagshort lahat  kaya gagawa nalang ulit kami bukas.

sa tingin nyo po ba since yan lang ung buong circuit or components na gagamitin namin makakapag text po o tawag po ba kami?kasi ang iniisip ko makakatanggap kami ng text pero hindi kami makakareceive.

isa pa pong iniisip ko e kung transceiver na po ba agad ung yagi at ung dipole na gamit namin..di po kasi masyadong itinackle ung mga antenna sa amin.puro pag compute lang ng free space loss kadalasan para sa microwave link designing..na gets ko po kasi ung sinabi nyo na magcacancel out nga naman ung signal kung maglalagay kami ng isa pang pabalik e.

kung iche-check niyo 'yung graphs, hindi siya band filtered sa GSM bands lang (Uplink 880MHz - 915MHz), naa-amplify niya pa rin 'yung sa paligid, though, mas ok ang matching niya doon sa area nung mismong band.

hindi gumana ung smart..at nasira ulit ung ic namin.wew..mukhang maiinc kami e.haha..hindi ata 900mhz ung bandwidth nung smart sa pinagtestingan namin

maliit lang ang band ng Smart sa GSM900. mas marami silang band sa GSM1800.

waaaaaa!yun lang.hahaha!..sir baka meron po pala kaung site na maibigay para sa tutorial ng pag gawa ng antenna.ung nakita kasi namin e.isang frequency lang ung tinuturong design hindi ung buong bandwidth..ala po din po kasi kaming makitang 1800mhz na antenna

search mo 'yung book na Broadband Planar Antennas. pero kung gusto niyo ng easy way at walang masyadong hassle, mag-design na lang kayo ng Lod-Periodic Antenna.

mga sir,maam, thank you po ng marami.ok na po ung project namin naipasa na..un nga lang kulang pa daw sa testing..since hindi kasi nakapag amplify ng signal sa school.though may naipakita na kaming video kung saan inamplify ung signal sa ibang lugar..gusto talaga nila sa school gumana e..magdadag dag nalang kami ng transmission line para hindi mareceive nung yagi antenna ung frequency na inamplify na para hindi mag cancel out ung frequency..

mukhang isolation ang problem niyo, kung ganyan kasi, dapat at least 20m para minimal ang interference nung amplified sa original, bawas oscillation.
