we hope that, most real hobbyist amplifier or sound systems will be running by MCU, which we can do many things, makes our amplifier attractive and use it more than before.
Consider na, puwede tayo mag display ng mga character sa LCD, puwde tatakbo pangalan, mag flash ang pangalan, o makagawa ng MENU Driven MMI, i-display natin ang temperature ng heatsink o kaya iformation kung ang amplifier ay over driven na, etc. etc.
the author design this system, DR100W conCEPT for education purposes, but, we as hobbysit can go beyond it to feel the power and fun of
being a hobbyist by modifying many of the hardware and software according to personal hobbyist preference. A simple modification on the MMI as
"I love You Jenny"
means lot if your gf / wife (or ....) will see it on the front panel of your power amplifier - night and day. The design allow that there is no need to unplug the amplifier from the 220Vac line so that, night and day, "I love You Jenny" display always on the LCD, and whenever i like to play the music, its on the go, - with MCU, it can run to drive the hardware to go into deep sleep mode which do not consume power (or very minimum power) when it is not being use.
You do not have to stand and reach the Volume Control of your power amplifier, with the push of a button, you can do that wether you are in your room, in the bathroom, kitchen, etc.... because our solutin for controlling the amplifier is RF, you do not need to go infront of your amplifier and point the IR control toward it to get access.
with simple innovative idea, you do not even need to touch anything to adjust the volume of your power amplifier..... yet, you can increase and decrease the volume....... you will see that soon..!
with MCU - many thigns we can do, it is almost unlimited.
One might interested to hook up his amplifier into his PC, thanks to UART communciation and the use of USB---> TTL, it makes life easier connecting with PC. You can make a visual basic program to control your amplifier with a software you like.
with android phone / android Pad, you can installed a software (a DR100W apps software (idea pa alng naman ito),

?) on your phone and control you DR100W conCEPT sound system via bluetooth.
what else? With the long term idea, 1diy Trainer Kits comes with 1diyLINKs, to "try" to interconnect all the board via RF Technology (simple to complex, peer-to-peer to multinode), Like Security Systems with NE2ss, Sound Systems with DR100W conCEPT and soon, future Trainer Kits and Learning Kits.
We can only do all the above , when we know, how to program a MCU.
