another 1 wahhhh

energy is to saved in a large museum by automatically turning the lights ON and OFF in an infrequently visited museum. Design an electronic circuit that will turn the lights ON when the first person enters and turns the light OFF when the last person leaves the room. The electronic  system should be able to accomodate up to 99 people in the room at any time. The entrance sensor and the exit sensor each consist of parallel light beam. Assume these sensors normally provides a 0 V output , which changes to 5V when the beam is broken. Assume that the entrance is narrow enough to allow 1 person to enter at a time and that the light beam breaks only once per person.

anu daw????

You need at least 2 light sensors each at the entrance and exit so you can detect the direction of entry into the exit/entrance para makasiguro ka na yung pumasok o lumabas ay talagang pumasok o lumabas ng room.  Implementable yan using logic gates but the simplest and easiest way pa rin is to use an mcu.

kung plain logic, kailangan mo ng D flip flops (74HC74) tapos up/down counter (74HC193). yung D flip flops would indicate direction (entry or exit). tapos dependent sa output nung D, redirected sa up/down input nung counter. baka kailangan mo rin ng monostable for validation. kung isang sensor lang yung nag-trigger, reset niya yung direction sensor (D flip flop) para walang false direction trigger. ;)

kulang pa pala ng NAND na mag-off ng relay or thyristor kung 0 ang output ng counter. ;)
