hingin ko recom nyo mga masters...
may pinarereformat na netbook at puro PC installer games ang ilalagay
ano ba ang light OS para dito 1g ang ram nya 250g ang hdd,,1.6g htz processor
at paano magandang partitioning nito para good performance lagi..

anong mga games? kung 'yung mga games lang like Plants vs. Zombies, tipong flash games, kahit anong OS ok na. pero kung 'yung mga 3D games, mas ok sa XP dahil matakaw sa RAM ang 7, lalo na ang Vista.

pero kung 3D games din, medyo mahirap 'yan kung sa Netbook, regardless of OS.

x86 32bit maganda sa games, kasi maraming lumang application ang kaya niyang mapa-run

Intel Atom processor at xp ang nakainstall sa ngayon...
ito rin ang mga sample ng games..
how about partitioning..wat would you recomend po?

Mas maganda sa c drive mo lang iinstall at medyo lakihan mo c drive mga 100GB or 50GB. Para mas mabilis i-aacess. Sa ganangn akin lang.

kapag nagpa-partition ako typically 3/4 sa main ('yung may windows) tapos 1/4 doon sa excess. lalo na with Windows 7.

though, depende na rin sa user 'yun kung maraming iba-ibang files. sa desktop ko, wala ng partitions, ang gulo kasi tignan, at ang maghanap ng files. :D

Sakin 100GB sa malalaking drive lalo na ngayon. C drive yan. Tamang tama na yan for OS at ibang data.

Lalo na kung netbook na D drive ay backup or recovery partition.

E drive for malalaking data lalo na movies or mga free softwares.

F drive para sa ibang unit na aayusin.

Another is for testing purposes or pang dual boot partition.



Para masira man ang c drive at recovery drive hindi lahat ng data nacompromised.

yup, ok talaga kung maraming partition kapag maraming data. sa netbook ko, meron na talagang hidden backup partition, pero linalagyan ko rin ng backup 'yung D. tapos puro burn sa DVD 'yung movies para 'di makalat, o kaya sa external ni misis. ;D

though, based on experience, 'yung partitions na laging dinadaanan ng malalaking download 'yung mga tinamaan sa hard drive ko. kaya ang typical na ginagawa ko merong hiwalay ng partition for downloads lang.

tapos sa desktop, hiwa-hiwalay na lang na hard drive, mas nadadalian ako. :D actually, kinulang pa 'yung 80GB na main drive ko para sa games kaya nalipat na sa D (1GB, buong partition).

Sa partitioning nman ang ginagawa ko pag xp lang, drive C kung saan ang OS, 10 gig.
Lahat ng programs na pwdeng ilagay sa ibang drive doon ko nilalagay, games at files, basta wala sa drive C.
OS lang ang nilalagay ko sa drive C. Lalaki din nman ang used space nun kung mag-install ka ng mga programs dahil maglalagay sya ng files sa system mo. Defragment mo at video rendering nya lagay mo sa high performance.

Mahirap isiping gamitin sa gaming (even light gaming) ang intel Atom.
Kahit anong gawin mo dyan mabagal tlaga yan, browsing lang at movies ang bagay dyan.

iba sa akin, mas maliit ung system drive at malaki na man sa FILES
ex. C:\ = 70G (Windows 7) D:\ = excess (FILES)
para kung mag rereformat na, ung important files ay ipupunta sa D pwera nalang kung may bulate ung D ;D

i search niyo po ung game na yan sa google tpos ung system requirements niya, pero atom ung processor, mukhang ... ;D
