this might be a dangerous option. it enables write cache to disk. kung na unsafely removed, it may destroy files

OT konte boss...kaya its a good personal practise to safely remove USB Devices di ba... pwede naman in uncheck yon write cache option na yan....this approach is particularly good sa mga USB na malalaki Gs Space 8 gig pataas so that the user can move bigger files of more than 5Gs pataas...me experience kasi ako boss...bumili ako SanDisk Cruzer 16Gs...nagtataka nun una di maka copya ng mga malalaki HD Movies 5Gs ang laki...I played with this approach I found out preformated as FAT32 yong USB...so I tried this approach and it worked...baka pumuwede tong approach na ito sa USB na zero bytes na ayaw maformat sa windows environment...all in all mag nurture tayo ng good practise to safely remove USB devices at iba.. pa bago i disconnect sa PC.. :-)

"The maximum possible size for a file on a FAT32 volume is 4 GB minus 1 byte or 4,294,967,295 (232−1) bytes. This limit is a consequence of the file length entry in the directory table and would also affect huge FAT16 partitions with a sufficient sector size.[1] Video applications, large databases, and some other software easily exceed this limit."

so better to format ur usb with NTFS to accept files bigger than 4GB,pwede pa macompress ang drive.

yes its a practice to safely remove, pero kung nawalan ng kuryente? nagBSOD ang pc? nagloose ung USB?

aksidente naalis ang usb sa pc? thats only my opinion. no offense.

My bad...I assumed na naka UPS mga PC natin mga boss...as to offence non taken...nangyari na rin sa akin yan nagloose ung USB device...actually external HD 500Gig...nadedetect sya ng PC kaso di nya mapasok na yong HD...sinasuggest ni Windows na iformat ko na yong HD...I felt so bad cause I am not yet ready to loose all my porno collection...heh heh...so di ko muna pinormat...then a friend from far away suggested to used a third party software...Stellar@@@@ to recover my files on that disk...it did worked out fine...the files are there at naging RAW yong format ng disk...So far I recovered almost all of my high priority files on that disk mostly unwholesome movies....yong mga wholesome movies...andun pa...kaso me napuna ako sa mga chm file extensions...wala na mga pic na lumalabas...ginagamitan pa ng third party software para mabasa nya...the rests are all ok. :-)
PS I forgot to post patungkol dun sa Sandisk Cruzer USB ko when I found out na preformatted as FAT32 yong USB I reformat it into NTFS.. :-)
