Flood Damage Repair
« on: June 26, 2008, 08:04:41 AM »
Last weekend, Iloilo City was given an ass kicking of epic proportions by Typhoon Frank. Anyway, since nalinis na rin namin ang bahay namin, I'm wondering on how to go about the recovery of some of the electrical appliances that suffered flood damage.

1. Panasonic Refrigerator - a new model that we just acquired last december. We just cleaned the inside as well as rinsed the housing of the compressor and circuits of mud. Wala akong idea kung napasok ng tubig ang circuit board nito and ayokong i-power up lang para i check.  :)

Any ideas with regards to troubleshooting/checking and repair would be greatly appreciated.

Dapat bang i dis-assemble lahat at linisin?

Any tips, ideas, suggestions would be helpful.

Cheers.  :)

Kung pwede nyo tanggalin circuit board, tanggalin nio muna at patuyuin, siguraduhing tuyong tuyo bago ibalik, kung duda kayo do what I usually do to troubleshoot,
1. slowly power up the board(naka current limit source mo)
