Windows is boring.

Yeah but eventually you still end up using windows.

I used to think like you having tried all sort or unix-like os and linuxes and eventually nagsawa na din ako sa kakatweak, kakaupdate, upgrade  and waiting for support for drivers etc etc etc.  That is what you get if you want something for free.

At least you have the challenge to tweak.
At least you can handle pc's even without os yet, even without harddisk.
I still use winxp, its capable of all software and online games.
If you follow windows, you will pay more and more for softwares that necessarily needs a new windows support.

ginagawa ko,  pag alam kong linux machine binubuo ko, hindi latest hardware gagamitin ko. Tipong 2-3 year old chipset para mas malaki chance na may driver na.

depende din sa use.

but going back to win8,  it looks very different from the usual windows.  more on written sya around the activities of a user and integrated na with a lot of net apps.   good for them.

medyo iba ang user experience ng win8 ngayon.  Let's see kung ano response ng users.  Big gamble for windows but it's a necessary step.
