I like your thread on the LM4702, iyan reference ko http://www.electronicslab.ph/forum/index.php?topic=32310.msg607228;topicseen#msg607228 , kasi compairing ko ang predriver na IC LM4702 and then predriver na digital class T, both performance at saka price saka availability, if several guys will be interested, why not to make the kit version (provided may mag invest). Pero gagawin kon lang iyan with MCU control and with catching LCD displays, not just the amplifier.

Back to topic, loko kasi iyong intsik na agent kala niya madali kukuha ng IC na SMD, iiwanan na tuloy ako napahiya na. Baka palitan nalang ng package na DIP iyong IC. Of course makakauha tayo sa ibang bansa ng SMD, medyo gold nga lang ang dating, kung para sa akin, may pambili na pero kung maramihan na, medyo mabigat na kaunti. what I am planning now is :

1. Add extra pad for DIP accomodating TDA8953J and possibly TDA8954J, check ko ang pcb designer

Still in the bringup test, gumamit na ako ng DIP na package for interwork with TDA8953/54 kasi mahirap humanap ng SMD. I update you once available.

It takes more time to finished this project behind real hectic job, pasyal ka dito sa baguio para ma test natin iyong prototype, may humming pa due to grounding issue, kapag nagko-nnect-connect na ang mga ibang modules. Sorry po, hindi ito available within next month.

If need mo talaga malakas, around 600W stereo, puwede kita i-order ng digital class T, attend ako ng HK Elecronic show by first 2 week of april 2012, hand carry ko na for you. You can opt also to get one 1,800Wrms/channel into 8 ohms 3,600W stereo, puwede din 1,200Wrms stereo sa isang module - all are digital class T power amplifier.

hello... just an update.

I go back to the DR100W_PA, re-design the PCB and added some stuff like VU meter, improved the Standby control. See here, http://www.1diycentre.com/new_dr100w_pcb.html

In this PCB version, it can handle the 100Wrms stereo and 200wrms Stereo, at least now, we have good source of HSOP24 package, The TDA8953TH, it is hard to find and do not have stable source.

It's the end of the story......!

We've (I've) been testing higher power solution like 300Wrms/channel (600Wrms stereo into 4 ohms), a digital Class T , at the end ----- I do not need that amount of power for a normal house (with normal listening ear). what I realized is the lack of

1. Good Speaker Systems
2. Good CD player (now, i begun to dislike MP3)

to really have a good hi-fi music.

Maybe, this is where I focus.

yung pangalawa kong DR100W hanggang ngayon e di pa natunog. suspect ko e may tama yung IC. mataas yung dc offset ng kabilang channel.
