help LCD 2x16 programming using ccs c

help naman po gusto ko po sanang mag program ng LCD ayoko po sanang gamitin yung library sa ccs dahil mas gusto ko po sanang maintindihan ang lcd kung paano ito iinterface sa pic.sana po matulungan nyo ako TIA.
