Applications of High Power MosFETs, IGBTs, Power Diodes

Hello po mga sis...I am thinking po to used this devices as a project... Any suggestion po, btw the minimum voltage ratings of those devices is 600V and there are several ratings for current basically from 8V up. 

What I have in mind is a High powered Amplifier, SMPS..any suggestions po mga sis..

depende po sa application mo. kung specs mo naman eh mababa lang gamit ka nalang ng bjt or fet. igbt kasi for industrial applications na high power
