Automatic passenger counter in Buses

Guys, what would be the best way to automate the counting of passengers inside a bus? Any ideas pls.

push button switch per seat or sensor sa main door ng bus with digital display near driver seat....hehe

research k n lng din po about sensors. parang yung sa basketball sa malls, yung ring may sensor na binibilang ang bola na nagshoot. in comparison dun, yung sensors bibilangin ang mga tao. try mo po ang infrared sensors.

Wag mo na problemahin yan, di ka pa ba kumbinsido sa mga kunduktor? Alam kung saan ka sumakay, kung bayad ka na at yung sukli mo pati na rin kung saan ka bababa..

hindi pwede sa seat yung sensor, kasi may nakatayo naman (kapag rush hour), bukod pa dun, maraming sensors din ilalagay mo,
mas maganda kung sa door yung sensor :)

yung ibang bus sa abroad, merong rfid based na card papasok at palabas ng bus, dinededuct na doon sa card yung binabayad nila. from that, pwede na nila magather yung statistics kung ilan ang nasa loob ng bus. kaya sa ganitong paraan kahit may nakatayo, nakaupo o nakahiga   kuha pa rin ang bilang ;D

gaahin mo sa US.. eather may swipe card na ginagamit.. o kailangan ng exact change... alang conductor dun... at bawal ang may nakatayo... pag puno na.. di na magsasakay...

dito satin medyo mahirap ang kalakaran kaya medyo di pede yun... sobrang dami kasi ng population sa manila... baka magtulakan lang sa pagpasok sa bus at maaksidente pa pag may harang.. kaya may conduktor...

kung sino 'yung nakakasakop sis. kung sa buses, MMDA 'yan. actually, nung panahon pa ni Bayani Fernando marami siyang gustong i-implement na mga ganyan. medyo marami rin silang pinapagawa sa pinapasukan ko dati, kilala ata kasi ng dating boss ko si BF. 'yung mga operators lang ang may ayaw, meron pa nga silang sinusunog kapag ayaw talaga nila.
