Tanong ko lang po kung posible irecognize ang tunog ng sirena ng emergency vehicle using computer.
Requirements:
Realtime
Noisy Environment
As much as possible, matlab program

Yes, of course.  You have to capture and isolate that certain sound you want and digitize it.  Actually, even an analog signal can be decoded, such as DTMF tones.  I have an idea of where you're going with this.  But it will be better if you share in this forum what you really need to solve, so Mathlab users can respond.

Need ko lang talaga po ng idea kung ano dapat gamiting parameters sa pagdetect nung sound. AFAIK, yung frequency ng sound ng siren ang kelan ko bigyan ng pansin. So need ko ng FFT? tama po ba? at saka ano po yung idea nyo. share :D. thanks talaga po :)

eto tone decoder na ic basa lang datasheet papaano ito gumana para magka-ideya kayo papaano ito isulat sa matlab.

Let's wait from users of Matlab.  But I think you can do without the LM567 for now if all you need is to plot and analyze the siren on the PC.  I have not used Matlab but I have used the LM567 decoder before.

Sa MIC, you get the pattern first like the fingerprint sa pag pasok sa office.(Punching in). When you put your actual, hanapin nya ang corresponding pattern.

Baka po pwedeng makahingi ng kahit general na algorithm? hehe. greatly appreciated po kung sakali.
