mga sir.. kung gagamitin ninyo sa pc sa kotse.. don't get or assemble your own.. even if you use regulators.. kasi maselan ang PC.. kapag di niya nakita ang power good inputs lalo na sa ATX, di siya nagboboot.  Better get the one with the picture.. di basta basta magconvert ng ATX power supply for cars.. kaya nga may extra circuit iyon.. di sya straight convert and regulate..  concerned lang po.. baka masira pa ang tuatalin mp3 pc mo.

Hello mga magagandang sisters. Kung efficiency and habol ni T. Siopao, well eliminate the inverter and eliminate the PSU! If you look at the output ng PSU, di ba +12V, -12V, at +5V and -5v, at may 3.3V pa ata. lahat sila DC!para ma explain lang.If you give me two car batteries, makukuha ko yung mga voltages listed, may + and -. I once conceptualized a UPS for computers using the batteries directly and forgo the inverter part and the PSU part.  Hinde practical dahil hinde convenient to use.

Now, if we have to retain the use of the PSU, for one thing, we need only one battery. ang inout yan ay 220VAC, diniDC to get 220x1.41V DC and normally 400V na capacitors ang gamit. Inooscillate ito sa very high frequency pra maga psuedo AC uli(On/Off) then it is fed into relatively smaller transformers that what we would normally use for 60Hertz frequency. dun sa seconday ang mga multi volts outputs na diniDCX uli, filtered, regulated and fed to the CPU.Ayun. ang maselan sa switching PS ay ang regulatiopn sa oscillation of the pseudo AC.

kaya, I agree with some inputs dito that what T.S. should do is to get transformers na 12V x 1.41 and primaries. E DC muna and 12V then oscillated to get psuedo AC but at very high frequencies. then ganun din mga secondaries.

try mo lang i-rewind 'yung transformer sis. ;D

ang problem kasi ang hirap maghanap ng TL494 based power supply. same din kaya ang mga 2003 based supplies ngayun?

switching from 400V Dc to 12 V is a big jump. maraming adjustments at sensitive and circuit ng switching PS sa feedback system nya to maintain even voltages.

Pag generic siguro TL494 based pa sya karaniwan.

yung mga mumurahing ATX psu madalas TL494 based

boss negative yan idea mu as far as ATX concern naka design sya sa 110-220vAC so if coconvert mo sya sya sa 12vDC need mo palitan mga components sa primary nya..

Mga sisters, unless for the sake of leaning lang, mabubusi yan project. As I mentioned earlier, 12V max lang naman ang kailangan ng computer, plus and minus nga lang, why not use batteries all the way. if yo switch it, it will be only to get the diferrent voltages needed. At kung mahal bumili ng maraming batteries, eh, yung laptop na lang de batterya. yung fren ko, bumili sya ng inverter sa CDR King to charge the laptop pag na drain ang battery. sabi ni T.siopao, iwasan ng raw ang inverter dahil inefficient and of course gastos but to      do what you want to do will be very costly in parts and in time nyo.
