baka PCI-USB yung nilagay?

.when i measured the voltages: 0V kasi between RX and GND. .negative voltage naman between TX and GND. .

supposedly may negative swing talaga ang RS232. some (siguro most) converters, rather than +/-12V ang swing, +/-5V lang ang swing.

kung usb to rs232 yan, you Should be able to read negative voltage nga.
3.3v or 0 dapat.

1 way to check kung ok pa yan, short mo ung tx rx, open port with a serial terminal sa pc, then send char. char sent should appear to terminal window.

Yung mga cdrkong usb-rs232 cable, walang negative swing but rather 0V siya.  One good thing about this is that you can use the cable directly as a usb to rs232 TTL converter w/o additional max232 chips, only thing is, the data is inverted which can easily be compensated in code.

sana yan na lang binili ko. .iconnect ko kasi sa fs. .
