di ko lang sigurado ha... pero ang alam ko, yung vhdl, language yun... .vhd nga ang output. parang pagnacompile na,parang JEDEC file naman... parang HEX sa MCU.

hirap... hehe

dapat talga makagawa na tayo ng DIY dev board. para mapaglaruan na.
maganda daw ang combination ng MCU at PLDS... parang PLDS ang maghahandle ng logics at syempre MCU for processing. si sir motion55 nagkwento saakin nyan.

mas mabilis rin kasi ang CPLD at lalo na ang FPGA. though sa FPGA pwede ka na magpasok ng MCU using synthesizable cores.

kaya naman pala, isa sa project namin yung pagdesign ng instruction sets ng modified na SAP architecture... gamit VHDL. intended yun sa FPGA (sana).
basta sa ngayon, cpld muna tayo...

as of now, i got like a 100 proteus simulations that need some further improvements..

1 dozen circuit on breadboards that need more tests.. and another dozen na kailangan ng PCB layout..

may given palang sources yung FTDI para sa FT2232 IC nila to program Xilinx and Altera FPGA. tinatamad pa akong buksan. kapag binuksan ko mapupunta na naman sa iba ang attention ko. hehehe.

Im currently downloading xilinx modelsim. Sana may simualted outputs din na feature ang modelsim kasi ang Altera puwede mong masimulate ang output ng VHDL programs mo.. ang bilis ng download sa office.. hehe

di ko naman kasi nalasahan yung full version.
hirap nga nyan hanapan ng cr * * k... kaya yan na yung ginamit ko. anyway, nagwowork naman.
yung ide ng xilinx, libre naman, basta yung nga classic version na. yung bago, una sa lahat ang lalaki, parang di pa pwede magamit ng basta-basta.
basta yung ginamit ko, version 6.xx tapos yung 7.xx... mabagal lang kasi yung internet ko noon tapos mabagal din yung pc ko, kaya yan lang ang ginamit ko. just be sure to install the service packs ng ide, nandun yata nakalagay yung ubpdated libraries...
