mga master. may nakapagpagana na ba ng eICD2 sa laptop gamit ung usb to serial converter? gusto ko kc bumili nito kaso baka mapaso naman ako dahil hindi sya gagana sa laptop. May nasagap kc ako na naghuhung daw yung laptop sa paraang to , toto ba? gusto ko lang maverify bago gumastos. parang masaya yata kung mplab na ung pang prog at debug.

Sis sa gizmo kana buy ng Rs232 to usb proven to work na sa 2 proger ko.
Tapos check the com port assignment...baud rate settings...FIFO settings..

yes just use the usb2serial cable from e-gizmo and it should be ok.

Problematic kasi yung mga cable from cdrking. Not reliable ang hardware tsaka yung kasamang driver nito

Ask ko lang guys, may USB PIC programmer ba kayo wherein yung software programmer niya (yung pang-burn) will work in windows vista?

Marami kasi akong nakikita na USB PIC programmer pero yung sa software side hindi gaanong detailed yung discussion.

Pickit2 (or pickit3) is supported by windows vista even with windows 7.

I suppose, the DIY versions will also work on win vista and win7. this is for as long as the software used is PICkit2...

i bought this usb to rs232 cable kasi gusto ko na to na lang ang gamitin ko sa sercon/jdm programmer ko. im using icprog previously so ito rin yung tinry ko kanina, but the problem is nasa COM7 yung usb to rs232 nakalagay, yung icprog naman COM1 yung gamit. kaya diko rin nagamit. sino po sa inyo ang may serial programmer na ginamitan din ng usb to rs232 cable na nakapagana na nito.TIA

uu nga sa advance button pwedi mu palitan ng port basta unused ports. Yan din tanong ko if gagana kaya.

??? wala p po bang nakakaisip ng usb pic programmer na madali lng po hanapin ung parts... minimal ang count ng components... easy to use tulad ng serial port.. kasi po ang nahihirapn po ako humanap ng pc na compatible sa serial port type programmer. . . kasi mga bago n ung mga pc sa mga compshop dito :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

kung may bago kang pc at walang serial port sa labas tignan mo sa luob may if may serial header. Magwiring ka lang manualy to have serial port. Ginawa ko din yan sa pc ko.
