eto yung mga "one wire" interface device ng maxim...  may temperature reader, ram and rtc etc.

nakaincase sa "button" parang battery button sa mga mobo.  ang idea is hardened siya ideal siya sa harsh environment. 

may reader siya na one wire.  idikit mo lang yung button sa interface ng reader tapos babasahin na niya yung laman ng button.

tingin ko natabunan na ang technology ng pumasok ang rfid.

Ibutton, yup, 1-wire interface, power and data on a single line. Until now, ginagamit pa din sya and mataas pa rin ang market for that product.

Applicable sya sa harsh environment like kamote said. I don't know if they still test them here in Philippines. And nga pala dati syang product ng Dallas Semicon and naging maxim ng inaquire ng maxim ang DS.
