for me AMD is the best tapos cheaper xa compare sa Intel... same quality at a lesser price.  ;D Recommended na din ito ng madaming computer technician.  ;D

sa mga games na hindi na-optimize sa multi-core, AMD single cores ang the best.

sa multi-core, Intel na (Core 2 Duo). dito lang naman nanalo ang Intel sa AMD sa performance ever since 486. ;D malamang konti lang nakakalam nun. ;D

may nabasa kong article sa net about dito sa AMD na dinadaig ang intel sa single core.. nung una diko naniniwala.. totoo pala..  ;D sayang at sana AMD nalang binili ko noon.. mas mura pa..

madalas kasi makipag-work ang AMD sa mga gumagawa ng games at gumawa sila ng extended instruction para mas mapabilis computation para sa physics at graphics. 3DNow! ang una nilang ginawa, AMD K6-2 with 3DNow! ata ang una niyan. ilinapit nila sa mga game makers na gamitin 'yung instructions nila.

tapos ang Intel naman magaling sa Marketing. ;D maraming partially confirmed rumors na binabayaran ng Intel ang ibang shops para tanggalin lahat ng Ad ng claims ng AMD. may lawsuit 'to sa ibang bansa.

hehehe. actually pagdating ng Core 2 Duo maraming die hard AMD fan ang naggive-up sa paggamit ng AMD. ayaw pa rin kasi nilang baguhin 'yung micro-architecture.

ang next na kasing gagawin nila heterogenous multi core.

multicore days, nag-switch na rin ako sa Intel. hehehe. mas maganda na ang execution:clock ratio nila than AMD.

OT: #1 pa rin ang Intel as Semiconductor company kahit CPU na lang ang natitira sa kanila. hehehe.

heterogenous cores.

ang GPU kasi sobrang laki ng difference ng performance niya with CPU in terms of floating point computing. kaya 'yun ang gusto nilang ilagay sa CPU. Physics computation ang processing intensive sa mga games.

ang NVIDIA naglabas ng way para magamit ng Scientific at Engineering community ang floating point capability ng GPU cores nila.

hindi ba NVIDIA G7 series ang XBOX 360?

PS3 pala ang NVidia. hehehe.

hindi ganyan ang gagawin nila. magkasama talaga sa iisang die ang CPU at GPU. rather than Dual Core CPU (or Quad Core), CPU + GPU in single die. lahat ng interconnection nasa loob kaya mababawasan ang bottlenecks on buses.
