pwede kang gumamit ng SDCC. supported nila 'yung mga MCU ng Maxim. kung wala naman, gawa ka lang ng SFR library mo. meron ding mini tutorial sa Maxim sa paggamit ng SDCC sa 8051 nila. good thing sa 8051 series nila, pwedeng paandarin hanggang 33 MIPS.

In the future, we may put  an 8051 tutorial there, things are ready ---- we just need some idea of what mostly needed.

We still goes with ATMEL 8051 like AT89S52, AT89S8253 and the AT89L4052 which is high speed (faster than AVR).  We are starting to look at a little bit about high end 8051 processor by the Silabs,  just really time is an issue.

Not only that, we have some multi board for PIC 8 bit and 16 bit (sold only for specific country like UK and Europe), not yet got the right to sell in Asia.

Its end of 2008 na po, pero mukhang hindi pa rin mamamatay ang legacy ng 8051, still more new chip on the block and still flooded the market with 8051 processors - getting cheaper and cheaper and better.

Yes sir, welcome po, sabi nga, be like a candle that sines to our DIY, hobbyists and Enthusiasts,  so, share it and be a part of the community, of course hindi lang be a part kundi, do someting naman sa ikabubuti ng mga kababayan natin and the electronic profession.  I hope you guys can invent something  - something good.   

OT:
I'm ok, but busy as usual and business is threatening as the global market is down. My friend and "pakner" is quiet busy doing work on Solar Power grid and Solar Aircon, he actually so late to finalized the 8051 Trainer kit and PIC trainer kit he is doing, I think he need a little help, hehehehehe.

meron na ako 89c430, same lang din ba sila ng ATMEL 89c51  in terms kung same programmer sila?? plan koo kasi bili ng programmer yung nasa NIPAHUT...


to be honest ndi ko man lang nasubukan mag 8051 during my college days, kasi prof namn eh puro kwento ng kung ano ano

a oo nakita ko na pala yan, thnx papa yus. yung programmer kasi ni sir glenjoy na nandudun sakin natanggal yung isang pyesa taos andaming capacitors. at yung sa user's manual naman halos walang capacitor.
