 Hi sa lahat..

 regarding LF pics, lets say supply is @2.4V.... what voltage input(sa ADC) siya mag value ng 255? at 5 Volts parin ba?

depende kung saan naka-set sa program yung "Vref"..
pero usually, naka-set yung value ng Vref na equal sa Vdd..
bale ang range ang input mo ay 0volts to Vref (Vref ang max input voltage)..

 im not using Vref(so naka SET ito sa Vdd) and since Vdd ko is 2.4V, so it can achieve 255 value for a +2.4V input sa ADC? tama ba?

anyways, so needs ko pala mag "generate" ng +5V sa Vref para ang input nya is 0v-> +5V na ..tama?


sample:
setup_adc_ports(AN0_AN1_VSS_VREF);
setup_adc(ADC_CLOCK_DIV_2); <--depende na sa xtal used

so yung read_adc() , anu ba equation ko para dito? para yung output nya is STILL same ng Vdd=+5V Vref=+5V.. nakakalito.. hehe....

my LF kasi ako dito gusto ko mag try...

baka masira yang LF pic mo kung mag-aaply ka ng 5V sa Vref pin tapos ang supply nya ay 2.4V lang..
(di na dapat lumampas sa Vdd yung Vref)

ouch..anlabo.. ganun ba? hmmmmm sa meaning if di ko nalang i-set(or galawin) yung Vref, so bale value=255 with ADC input of +2.4V(or depende sa Vdd mo??)?? ganun ba yun? hehe

(for 8-bit)

digital value of input  = (analog input voltage * 255) / (Vref voltage)

ah ic.. ok ok... :) plan ko kasi gawin ulit yung scope...pero LF flavor naman, prob is WHAT OP-AMP input buffer to use with such low voltage.. hehehe

pero I tot +5Vdc is the absolute MAX input for PIC ADC.. or Vdd is the max input?? ewan ;)

gamit ka nung may rail-to-rail input-output opamp (ewan ko lang kung may mabibilhan locally)

yung value ng Vdd ang magdi-dictate nyan..
check mo sa datasheet (Absolute Maximum Ratings) Vdd + 0.3V ang maximum sa halos lahat ng input pins..
