Author Topic: Anti-dandruff shanpoo caused my hands to turn yellow!!! (Read 1495 times)

ngayong araw na to, galing ako sa dermatologis ang consult for treatment ng dandruff ko. isang gamot na ibinigay nya ay shampoo named as: stieprox. generic name: Ciclopirox Olamine 1.5%.

kanikanina lang, naligo ako after ko maghinang. maliit lang naman na board kaya right after ko may solder ng lahat ng parts naisipan ko na itreat na dandruff ko. syempre sa left hand ang soldering lead tapos sa right hand ang solder kasi nga right handed ako.

ayun nagyellow ang left hand ko, especially yung thumb, pointer and middle finger ko.

baka naman may magaling sa chemistry at maexplain kung bakit ganun yung reaction sa lead.

walang ibang nangyari sa kamay ko, di naman nasunog or nangati...

may reaction siguro sa resin ng soldering lead yung shampoo hehehehe

baka may nakikita kayong pwedeng may reaction sa resin or sa lead mismo.

citric acid plus lead puwedeng lead citrate ang resulta hehehehe kaya lang dapat mataas ang concentration..

and until now, yellow pa din. parang nagstain sa kamay ko.

bakit ang lead citrate ba yellow ang kulay?

WHITE daw.. so hindi lead citrate.. baka yung Sulphate kasi sulfur is yellow in color..

chemical reaction yan natatandaan ko pa nung akoy nag HS ginawa namin yan lead nitrate+potasium iodide hehehehe parehas na kulay white pag pinaghalo nagiging yellow
