I think eto po yung mga terms para dito.

INFRASONIC - applied to sound refers to sound waves below the frequencies of audible sound, and nominally includes anything under 20 Hz.

ULTRASONIC - applied to sound refers to anything above the frequencies of audible sound, and nominally includes anything over 20,000 Hz.

Sound (noise) is mechanical energy. It is physically real. A source of sound can (will) make the sound whether we are there to hear it or not. Or whether we can hear it or not. That's more of a "physics" answer, but it is a "real" as anything you are likely to encounter. And anything else is philosophy, which can be argued 'til the cows come home - without me 'cause I've gone for a hot cup of good coffee.
