i am in need of ELECTRONICS ENGINEER... for my project

So. here I start.

Ahmm.. kelangan ko po kasi ng ELECTRONICS ENGINEER...or anybody who can help me out with my INVESITGATORY PROJECT about the POLONIUM PEN.

SPEAKING OF MY POLONIUM PEN... it has a circuit, na sabi ng most people ay ELECTRONICS ENGINEER ang gumagawa. I have the complete instructions kung paano gawin yung project ko.. the materials are like transistors, resistors, brass tubing, beads, kapton tape, an LED, power switch, screw, standoff, alkaline battery and the like. marami ang mga materials pero ang lahat ay kelangan naman upang magawa ang POLONIUM PEN.

Does it really sound like I need aid from an ELECTRONICS ENGINEER?

Statement of the Problem:

This study focuses on the detection of Polonium in substances. It seeks to answer the following questions:
1. Is it possible to produce a polonium pen with a pocket-sized ion chamber    circuit?
2. Do substances have too much Polonium?
3. Does time affect the Polonium’s alpha decay?
4. Does the amount of substance influence the Polonium’s alpha decay?

Hypotheses:
The researcher considers the following hypotheses in his study:
1. It is possible to produce a polonium pen with a pocket-sized ion chamber           circuit.
   2. Substances do have too much Polonium.
   3. Time affects the Polonium’s alpha decay.
   4. The amount of substance influences the Polonium’s alpha decay.

Not an electrician.

Any electronics technician or hobbyist could do this.
Even our 14? year old member here, nucleus could do this also.

But this is difficult to test if because we don't have radioactive materials here.

Sir tama po sila napakasimply po ng ipigagawa nyo, ang problema lang yong Polonium.....

Is this circuit is meant to test an active Polonium or an inactive Polonium Ore?

Do you already have a test/calibration procedure for this?

ahm.. ung sa radioactive material naman po.. it can really be tested sa mga may COCKTAILS at matatapang na WINE ..BEER.. and all stuffs.... so maybe, i just have to find such beverages po na matapang..so i can see a bit of Polonium in them.

the one who invented this project was from AMERICA..amerkano po siya at naka-usap ko na siya through email at posible nga naman daw tlaga ito.

so.. i know naman po sana na gagana ito. =)

so.. i just have to find electricians po right? or any hobbyist ..or the like.
i just have to show them the circuit through the schematic?..tama po?.
..ahm. ano pa po ba.

the materials are easy naman po right.. i can find them naman.

pero I have seen that circuit(or something similar) para yata yang negative or positive ion detector... maybe named polonium para fancy...


PERO sure lang ako detector talaga gamit nyan...

If you need assistance sa radio active material at mga radio active detector or anuman just pm me. I know someone from PNRI (Philippine Nuclear Research Institute) that can help you regarding this matter. Indicate mo na rin kung tga saan ka.

Polonium is a dangerous radioactive material, So I suggest to handle and take good care properly in creating your project if are about to build this so-called Polonium Pen.

If I remember exactly, dito namatay si Marie Curie pati ung asawa niya sa radiation poisoning.

Ngayon ko lang ito nabasa ah... Well, that American the thread starter has mentioned probably is based in Washington but anywayz, I dont have to argue much on what the thread starter wants to do. Because it is already done. All I can argue is the calibration. This is where the physicists are looking into. Questions like how much is the rated polonium can be detected per volume of liquid? To what extent is it's sensitivity level is reliably acceptable? and many more...

well, without further delay, here is the complete details of this project.

Read it once, understand it twice, calibrate the device a million times!
