personally asar ako sa technicians na ang alam lang eh magreformat.. kabadtrip, do they have to call themselves as technicians...(TECHIE) tapos ganun lang.. kung makapaningil pa..tsk

simple malware lang eh sasabihin "nako hindi na po kaya iyan, kailangan na pong ireformat yan, yung mga files nyo mahirap irecover, may additional payment po yun" ??? ??? ???

kainis talaga...

experience ko kasi.. over the young and old technician kuno...

syempre nga naman as for the 'reliability kuno' nga naman, the clients would prefer to choose those old ones, kasi marami na raw ang experience (sa pagrereformat ;D) since HS, second year HS to be specific, yan ang lagi kong prob, mura na nga maningil at syempre ginagawa ko ang best ko kasi nga alam ko na ganito, inaalagaan ko rin ang image ko as computer technician. pero wala choice nila yun eh.. ang akin lang eh, "para na rin silang nanlalamang ng kapwa, kapwa technicians at kapwa tao(clients).

tsk... tsk..

and also for those TECHNICIANS kuno na naman.. if your client says anything about their previous technicians, wag nyo nang gatungan, alam nyo ba ang tunay na kwento? nadagdagan pa.. tsk.. wag kayong ganyan..

tulad nga ng sinabi ko experience ko yan.. nanloko raw ako, kasi baket raw ang bagal pa rin ng PC kala daw nila inayos ko na... eh musta naman ang checkup at cleaning ng buong shop bibilis nga talaga yun ::) yun lang sinabi nyo saken eh... tsk...

tulad ng review centers, malamang uso din ang siraan ng mga technician hehehe... nadale na din ako ng ganyan.. however, it is a real failure sa case ko, nasira ko yung floppy disk drive nung around 14 years old ako... hehehe ;D  yang floppy disk drive calibration talaga ang pinakanahirapan ako.. dapat yata talaga palit ng palit na lang sa floppy disk drive at di ko na pinilit na ayusin, in the end ako pa ang nasisi... hehehe ;D buti na lang wala na halos gumagamit ng floppy disk drive.. :D

hehehe.. naalala ko rin ito... ms office ko for win3.11... 25 na 3.5 floppy... hehehehe sobrang tagal ng install.. very lucky na talaga ngayon hehehe...

heheeh! talagang ganyan ang buhay.

pero tingin ko mas maganda at mas madali ang option na reformat(as in fresh installation,includes F disk, sa software at drivers problems) kasi nakakabaliw mag hanap ng culprit lalo na sa registry diba.?masmadali pa oras na consume sa reforrmat.less than 1 hr.tapos na.
kng personal pc, cguro pwede kalikutin lhat. eh pag sa costumer, nagmamadali palagi yan.gustong maayos agad.

Ganyan ang Windows-mindset: instead of finding the root cause of the problem, it's so easy to decide to just reformat and reinstall.

You really can't fault those windows techie.  Windows is just too opaque to tinker with its innards and the "helpful" diagnostic information it gives helps no one.  And oftentimes, it's really helpful to just reformat and reinstall windows to clean away the software cruft that gets installed in it.

On topic, some years ago my brother was working with a computer supplier and he brought a pci video card with tv tuner that got rat urine damaged.  I repaired it: desoldered the video chipset, repaired the corroded pcb trace and vias, cleaned the whole thing on a bath of soapy warm water, resolder the chip. and dried it overnight.  It worked.

The computer supplier got wind of this so they decided repairing the other cards in the batch.  I don't know what happened after that but my brother took the video card back to them.

orig nga ang OS db? e syempre makikita mo COA sticker sa body ng pc.
kahit bumili ka peke na installer sa quiapo o DL ka sa microsoft site.pwede gamitin un.kc ung virgin installer nandun pa rin, crack folder lng nman dagdag nila para sa activation ng pirated.
kya nga pwede mo rin burn orig na copy.
