need ko ng high voltage diode 30kv.... pedi ba yung string 30 pieces of 1n5408 para makagawa ako ng 30KV...

yes it is.. actually nakagawa na ako ng ganyan.. string of 35 pieces 1N4007 connected in series.. max peak inverse voltage is 35,000 Volts kasi 1,000 volts ang isang 1N4007 ..

salamat sa information boss... hindi nba kailangan ng i parallel ang 1nf ceramic disc type capacitor on each diode??

kung medyo high speed ang application, kailangan ng fast diodes at 'yung snubber capacitors. pero kung hindi naman high speed, ok lang 'yung direct na series. sa ESD gun ko dati wala rin akong snubber capacitors.

boss, salamat sa info ha.. kaya pla may snubber capacitor na naka parallel para sa fast switching....
sa tesla coil ko po gagamitin to eh.. gawa na lang ako ng leyden jar for may tank capacitor.. :D

hindi talaga siya for fast switching, para mabawasan lang 'yung stress and noise emitted sa diode, IIRC. ;)

gamit ko sa pinapasukan ko dati. pwede ring pamatay ng ipis, titiisin mo lang 'yung amoy. ;D ;D ;D

BOss kung sa Tesla ko gagamitin? kailangan ba ng fast switching diode? kung string of 1n4007 pwdei naba yun? kasi 50ma lang current na papadaanin ko... hirap makahanap ng fast switching diode...

kung makakahanap ka nang ASPHALT pwede mo i "POT" yung diodes and caps mo. much better performance kasi mamababa ang corona losses mo.
