Very true. I used to work on the servers that enable cellphone tracking using the gsm/3g network. Kahit gusto ninyo man o hindi, mata-trak kayo as long as your cellphone is turned on. Kung naka-off naman, the location will be determined kung saang location huling naka-on yung cellphone.

Accuracy can go within 25-50 meters specially in highly populated cities. The purpose is not to actually track people but to provide value added services in relation to one's present location. But of course, it can be used to track a persons whereabouts.

Sa smart, as long as permitted ka ng taong itatrack mo, just type WIS phone number then send to 386, located yan sa cellsite kung saan sya naka log.

Yan na nga yun sinabi ko before, kung talagang wala sabwatan mga pulis at mga kidnappers, tracked automatic ang mga kidnappers kung cellphone gamit nila. Makikipag coordinate lang ang LEO's natin sa mga cellular telephony provider.

Kaya dyan pa lang, halatang may sabwatan na..
