You'll need to combine sensors for this application. You can use an ir beam sensor or ultrasonic sensor in combination with a PIR sensor. The PIR sensor will be used to confirm if the object is human or not.

If all the criterias are present, then you can be certain na its human.Yung PIR sensor actually ay motion detector that relies on heat to detect motion. Meron siyang sensitivity adjustment so bigger lifeforms like humans will emit higher amount of heat kaya pwede mo rin gamitin as heat sensor to detect human presence but only when it is moving. Just combine the outputs of several sensors and couple it with logic and you have your human detector.
