DA BEST pa din yung nabili ko sa alexan na UV bulb. kahit 700, ay... sunburn to the max ka naman kung maexpose. as in lapnos. hehehe
feeling ko yung uv led mahina compare sa tig 700 na bulb. that can't burrrrrn!??!

experiments on a UV lamp...
(tried and true ok nga!)
*erase rom chips.

UV led:
pros:
robust
cons:
low UV emitting. much like black light.
expensive.
needed to be mounted on a pcb or soldered in place
cheap if you're making a 4 x 6 exposure box

UV black light
pros:
not as destructive as germicidal lamps.
cheap (uv money detector lamps)
cons:
not much UV.

UV Germicidal lamps
pros:
Intense UV radiation.
more practical uses
widely used in presensitized and printing.
Cons:
not as expensive in led but more expensive than UV blacklight.
destroys acetate, paper, etc.
harmful unless proper caution is taken.
cancer causing. unless proper caution again. is taken.

ubos braincells ko ah.  ;D  ;D  ;D

sis, ilan ba yung supply voltage ng UV bulb sa alexan?mas mura sya sa e-gizmo,around 1000 ata yung sa gizmo correct me if i'm wrong pero malaki!

mga sir seems I like the idea of UV leaad exposure...for portability, safety, exposure control, lifespan at positioning....may question lang po san nyo gamit ang angle? Im planning of honeybee configuration ( physics under optics) yung distance between leads naman in relation sa distance ng led to the exposure media (pcb) ang naisip ko. Yun lang po san nyo gamit angle?baka may pics kayo for me to understand

@chris vp

take note. that's the size of a 4x3 assuming 30 led na magagamit.
wala pa jan yung current limiting nang led.

hehehe. i mail nya na lang yung opa541 nya.  ;D  ;D  ;D
