Question regarding MikroC
« on: June 02, 2009, 02:17:18 AM »
for mikroC users, may nakaencounter na po ba sa inyo ng ganitong error:
Routine too large

e2 kasi un lumalabas na error pag compile ko un combined programs namin ng groupmate ko. ang size po pala nung hex-files na magkahiwalay is 13.6KB and 21KB and the uC is PIC16F877A... and nakapagcompile kami ng programs >2KB hex files using "registered" version. I'm guessing na the only solution is to edit the program and make it shorter... any help?  ??? tia

Post your source so we can help. According to data sheet PIC16F877A has only 8K x 14 words program memory.

E2 na po un code namin may konti editing pa sa keypad part... Sorry po newbie sa C (semi-spaghetti code):P. Naginterface po kami ng RFID reader and a keypad. RFID using the USART and also the built-in libraries of MikroC. single C-file lng po yan

Edit. was just about to post pero hindi magkasya sa code snippet exceeds 2000 words anghaba talaga. May way po ba sa mikroC to check the number of word ng program namin? or is it just view assembly? Anghel lang siguro ang magbabasa ng code namin  ::) now trying to find a way to post the sourcefile in www. tia

asan ang link? heheh =)

di ko pa naeencounter ito.. ugali ko kasi magrevise ng magrevise ng code ^_^ i remembered the time na gumawa ako ng opensource project nun na nag-exceed ng 2K.. and i though to cr@ck my mikroC.. pero wait.. saglit lang.. ayun doing some revisions really help.. at yung advantage na paggamit ng limited version ng mikroC eh nakatulong pa sa pag-optimize ng code ko ^_^
