mamaya, check ko kung meron din para sa SPI eeproms ang CCS..kung meron, ita-try ko yung nakuha kong spi eeprom..
wala palang built-in driver ang CCS para sa spi eeprom.. ang meron lang (para sa EEPROM) yung i2c type (like 24xx),saka 9346, 9356 & 9366 serial eeprom's..ano naman kaya 'tong 3 na 'to ?
gumamit ako dati ng 93LC56B (9356), and SPI ang ginamit ko jan..
dito sa site ng IC-Prog (supported devices) http://www.ic-prog.com/index1.htmkasama yung 9356 sa Microwire eeproms, same lang sya sa SPI ?
yup... pag may time ako sa work check ko ang behavior ng serial port pag ginamit ang IC-Prog, tapos from the waveform sa oscilloscope we can come up with a circuit for programming SPI EEPROMs (or baka mareuse din natin ang JDM with little modifications)
very late question:anong commercially available na eeprom ang may pinakamalaking storage capacity ?
The only disadvantage of flash compared to eeprom is that you could not re-write the value on a page. You need to erase the whole page and re-write the entire page with the corrected value.
ayoko nito.. magka-cascade na lang siguro ako ng maraming maraming EEPROM's.. hehe
Why?Serial flash chips now is cheap and common and is 8 pin only like eeproms.For your usage that is for static pictures only, it is the right choice.
