Responsibilities
- Respond to user service call within SLA period (15 mins.) and give status immdiately

- Perform daily monitoring tasks in IPLC/Internet Link, Servers, CCTV, Door Access, and Email.

- Perform daily back up tasks on the servers assigned to tech support team

- Comply with standard operation procedures and policies set and agreed upon with IT head

- Render technical support in proper manner and provide feedback for uncompleted tasks to user

- Maintains HTTP, FTP, DNS, email services and TCP/IP based protocols.

- Mantains data backup and disaster recovery procedures

- Helps maintain the security of the network by ensuring updated security patches and upgrades

- Maintains internet content filtering

- Manages user accounts and establish security rights

- Facilitate direct installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of operating system software;

- Ensures that all critical information is properly saved and recovering procedures are in place

- Assess hardware upgrade requirements of the users and submit recommendation

- Perform configuration, installation and administration of IP phones

- Administer critical services and network equipments such as routers, switches, and other networking devices

- Coordinates with other IT team for problem isolation and resolution

- Perfoms related duties as assigned by IT head

 

Requirements

 

- At least 1 year experience in hardware/software installation and maintenance

- Experienced in troubleshooting computer hardware components and peripherals

- Knowledgeable in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the following operating systems:XP, Windows 2003 server

- Must be familiar in HTTP, FTP, DNS, email services and TCP/IP based protocols

- Must have experience in managing user account through Active Directory

- Knowledgeable in LAN switches and other network devices

- Experienced in installation and implementation of a LAN/WAN system.
