Ill suggest, you should have both, since nowadays cheap na lang ito. There are some cases you till need an analog tester. If you have a budget, then go for a fluke or sanwa. I think alexan dmm and their analog tester is also ok....

analog tester, SANWA bahala ka na kung anong model ang magustuhan mo.
digital tester, FLUKE. pwede na din yung sa alexan...

Pre.. i suggest kung Digital DMM ang bibilhin ang maganda ay FLUKE 87 series V da best to kaya nya maka measure ng capacitance max. 10,000uF ganito gamit ko sa company. kung Analog naman SANWA ang maganda.. cge..

kung analog bibilhin nyo, i suggest sanwa na ang bilhin nyo, matibay meter nya, in case di mo sinasadya na mabaligtad ang polarity o nasagad ang measurement mo ng voltage, di kagad mag stuck up yung meter. yung mga mumurahin, madali mag stuck up meter nun lalo na biglang palo o nasagad ang palo ng meter, di na accurate measurement ng analog meter mo

kung digital, pwede na yung sa alexan

be careful lang sa mga digital meters. try using a true-RMS meter if possible para mas accurate ang measurements.

fluke. expensive gear but a great investment. nakakita ako nito may ocilloscope with logging function.. tulo laway ko..
