For anyone interested in making digital clocks without having to worry about calibrating your clock circuit in an oscilloscope.

What do you think guys?  ;D

1Hz lang pala ito..
quartz crystal ba yung parang maliit na capacitor?  ???
kung crystal nga yun, pwede kayang gawin syang clock/oscillator ng mga PIC?  ???

The quartz crystal is the one overhanging from the PCB side ;)

And yes, even this cheap COB (Chip on Board, - the black blob at the center of the PCB) based board is capable of giving accurate 1 Hz time base.

OK ito! :D

This is nice!
Where can we buy this boards? Just from broken clocks?
Anyway, everybody here should have at least one broken clocks.
At home, I may have 2 on my junk box :) .

They're just for 1 hz pulse though. So basic h/m/s clock circuits is the only use I can think of. I've got a few broken clocks of my own too.  ;D

32.768 Khz ang frequency ng mga Clock crytals na yan tapos deni-divide nila yan hanggang maging 1 Hz. Bili ka nung cheapo na alarm clock sa mga sidewalk at kahoyan mo.  ;D
Alone I look for the way
Hoping you are waiting for me
where the hostile world has no say
that is where I always want to be.
Where my eyes want to follow
When I'm far, far away,
When life brings me sorrow,
Into silence I escape.

Alone I look for the way
hoping you are waiting for me
where the hostile world has no say
that is where I always want to be.
Where my rush of thoughts
in oblivion drowns
to forget the evil lot
I will sleep in safe arms.

Eto PIC version.  According to the thread, its just code and compatible with any PIC that has a CCP module.
