^yes sir napakahirap i tame ang mga churches, excessive ang rt60 nya ang dami pang room modes. ndi nman pwede gumamit ng mga room treatment lagot ka sa architect he he he .Ung technique nila distributed na speakers wla nmang mga delay lines kya magulo din. dapat cguro gamitin mga directional or horn loaded na mga speakers to increase direct sound/early reflection+reververation then proper setting ng delay lines + highpass filtering to avoid exciting the room modes. whew haba he he he

sa churches kasi standard na yung RT60 na about 1 sometimes 3 seconds pa nga.. very very bad sa speech talagang mag-suffer ang clarity ng speech.. hindi kasi puwedeng alisin ang echo sa mga churches kasi yung echo is associated with heavenly sounds.. pag may echo, para daw yun ang sound ng heaven.. which makes me think, if that was true then heaven has a very very bad room acoustics hehehehehe..

i think it is easier to redesign the acoustics of a classroom compared sa mga churches.. since sa classroom all we need is vocal clarity, all we need to do is reduce RT60.. minimizing smooth surfaces and perhaps using drapes & curtains.. yun mismong mga body at clothing ng mga students nag-aabsorb na rin yun ng reflected sound..

'yun din iniisip ko. pero 'di ko na rin masyadong naisip habang kinakasal kami. hehehe. nung mismong araw lang kasi ng kasal na-check kung anong meron doon sa simbahan. ;D ;D ;D

c "bro" talaga... dapat turuan natin nang konting room treatment... uso yung purple drapes ngayon sa churches. hihi. anyways madami dami din akong nakikitang multifunction halls and gym na walang acoustic treatment bare concrete walls and G.I. roofing perfect candidate for worst longest rt... parang kweba or valley na may bubong. (naalala ko yung rene requesta echo skits)

whe? di naman siguro "same day" hehehe. pero as in nung wedding day nyo lang nalaman na dun yung church?

siguro...
small churches kailangan lang nang reverb effects sa mixer for heavenly acoustic aesthetics we don't want a wedding... without little echo.
for big churches (sa mga ibang christian, adventist, etc.. minimal yung Rt) but people also need voice clarity... less rt

for function halls, gym voice clarity parin. i think add a dsp processor like SRS....
